I have been having problems with my car for about 2 months now. It all started happening a couple weeks after i installed my nitrous kit.

In the beginning, all was ok, but then it began losing power in the high rpms. around 7000 it seems to stutter. right about the same time, the sound the nitrous kit made changed. through 1st and 2nd, it sounded fine, but in 3rd it would suddenly change and sound like the nozzle was spraying outside the intake, it was weird. then a while later, when going through that rpm in 3rd, it misfired and tripped the cel. it wont do it when im accelerating in 1st or 2nd, only in 3rd when the rpm stays close to 7000 for a period of time. I thought it could be coils, so i ordered some. I also ordered spark plugs and wires from racingbeat but havent seen them yet.

so i got the coils in, and installed them along with a borla cat-back kit. when i took it out after that, it really began scaring me. without nitrous, it was exactly the same, no change. but once i began hitting the nitrous in 3rd gear, it felt like i hit a rock or something. i think it detonated, because it jerked suddenly. nothing has changed with how the engine runs since then, except when i mat it in 6th on the highway, it will start misfiring around 4ooo rpm.

sorry about the long post, but i just cant figure out whats going on. Im going to install the plugs and wires as soon as they arrive, but until thenis there anything i can do?

My bet would be the plugs if you already changed out the coils.

They will last about 15K miles...and even less if you are spraying

i have plugs and wires on the way, i hope they get here soon. is that all plugs last for is 15000km?
