Intermittent clutch issues???

Intermittent clutch issues???
I have done a search and can't find what I am looking for so I am hoping that some of your guru's might be able to assist me.....
I have a 2004 with 95,000Kms on it. And I am noticing some intermittent clutch issues.....
Started one day when I went to put the car into reverse and it just wouldn't go but the clutch seemed fine. (it eventually went after moving slightly forward then trying again)
But over the last couple of weeks the clutch pedal seems to loose tension/compression and goes right to the floor, sticks coming back up about half way then releases and while it does this it will not engage the clutch to enter a gear. Thought the clutch was gone but if you pump the pedal the tension/compression comes back an it drives fine....
Anyone have any ideas on what this might be before I take it to have it looked at.
Many thanks

Some clarification.
Bracket it fine, replaced it 18 months ago.
Brake fluid is full.
I assumed either the master cylinder or slave were going out so I replace both today and bled the line.
Already have a SS line installed since 2016.
Still having issues with the engagement point getting farther and farther until my clutch sticks to the floor.

I have had similar issues.

I may have fixed it but time will tell. My instinct tells me something is wrong with the clutch mechanically.
Only thing I could suggest is make sure the hydraulic side of the system is working well before pulling the transmission. Good news there is all the parts can be replaced for under $200 if you diy. You can replace them sequentially or all at once.
Master
slave
flex hose
fluid
Make sure you bleed it 100%. Good luck.

Make sure your disengagement point is setup properly, if it’s not it could be doing damage or have done damage to your throwout bearing. At that point get ready to pull the trans and replace.
