intermittent E-brake sensor light

Does the e-brake sensor indicate anything other than e-brake?
I get the light seemingly at random, and can verify the e-brake is not engaged. I checked the little switch under the handle, it 'seems' okay and no wires appeared loose.

What else should I check?
As mentioned in another thread I'm also getting an airbag indicator randomly. They don't seem to be related(don't go off at the same time).

does no one read their Owner's Manual anymore?
Section 5-6
the light can come on if your brake fluid is low or If the electronic brake force distribution
control unit determines that some components are operating incorrectly, the control unit may turn the brake system warning light on

sounds like your brake fluid is low .if it is low get your brake pads checked before topping it up .you will find your brake fluid will go back up when brake pads are changed ,as worn pads triggers the scensor on your brake fluid which is puting the hand brake light on your dashboard

I notice last week my E-brake light came on in a right-hand turn.
I check my brake fluid and it was just up to the fill-line. I put a little bit in,
just enough to put it over the line, and haven't seen the light yet.
