so its is a stock intake with a drop in K@N ifilter? double check your connections on your intake since you took it a part. When did your car starting driving like this? after cleaning the intake? after installing the hi flo cat?

Check it all.........oh, and I re-wrote the post above, so you might wanna look at it again......I copied it below in red.
Make sure all clamps are tight. Make sure the MAF O-ring is okay.
Did you break or crack one of the plastic elbows on the accordion when you took hoses loose to take the accordion out, or did you just leave it on during this cleaning?
Are the screen(s) still in the proper places in the intake track and haven't been removed, knocked out of place, or mangled?

and to clear it up. everything on this car is stock but the exhaust. its a highflow cat with 2 and 1/2 pipe to a singke chamber flowmaster to a 4 inch tip. thats the only mod done.its just a drop in filter.

the mesh screen is ripped?????? that will cause some serious rough idling.

huge reason. It can even cause the car to stall. You should have two wire mesh in your stock setup. each screen makes you lose 1 hp but without them, you will get possible stalling and a horrible idle. My REVi intake only has 1 mesh screen and is fine.

There is a 'velocity stack' curved lip piece inside the top of the air cleaner - make sure it's in place.
That is also where the thin wire screen should be, the lip holds it in - if there isn't one (or it's torn (bringing up the question of wtf went thru there?)) get a new one, you need it to straighten out the air for the MAF to read correctly.
Clean the MAF. Properly, not just a squirt and a shake.
Pull some code numbers before you post again - we don't like guessing games....

ok so the code WAS -EVAP emission control system leak, very small-. the code went off friday when i took the airbox apart and checked the elbows on the accordion pipe. there is one screen still in the intake. its the rear one closest to the engine. the other is torn to crap. strangely enough, today the tire pressure light went off also. but im still having that jumpin and jerking going on.

When it comes on.............is it solid or flashing?
Solid......tire is low(below ~26 psi, or it will even go off on the high end at about 50 psi).
Flashing.......TPMS issue itself, most likely battery in the TPMS itself.
You check your tire pressure with more than one gauge? Maybe gauge is off?
If stock tires, you should be running about 32-34psi in each. Might wanna bring them up a pinch.

If you read 29 psi and this was with the tire warmed up........AND...........when it was solid it was either on cold tires, OR your trips were not very far, then I think you might be below the threshold. Put some air in and see what happens....can't hurt.
If it works....at least you will feel like your making progress and can then get back to the real issue at hand.

I am not an expert by any means.
If you want stock coils, then just find the cheapest place. Don't get them at the dealer, look on here and you can get them fairly cheap. This is but one of many places to get them.

If it was me......and I had the money, I would go for the BHR kit hands down. http://blackhaloracing.com/products-...tion-system24/

It's a disclaimer...so you can't hold me responsible for anything I might say.
To be honest, I was never into cars that much until this one. So I only got a little bit of time under my belt.
Used to attempt to fix and learn things on my past cars only when something went bad. Kept up on basic maintenance, but that was about it.
