Just a Quick Question about Air Pump

So my air pump has that high pitched noise everyone complains about,
It did throw a code p0410 secondary air injection thing (I think it was p0410)
on dealer's receipt it said P410 "air pump will need more time...will need more time..."![Cussing](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/cussing.gif)
I'm including a youtube video!
here:

as you can see it has that high pitched noise that turns off around 50seconds- 1minute. I don't really mind the noise and it's not even that loud unless i pop the hood but it is throwing a CEL![Wallbash](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/wallbash.gif)
so my question is if my 60v air pump fuse seems to be good then will replacing the 2 bearings solve my p410 CEL?
referred to this bearing replacement diy:
https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php?...6&postcount=45
or if it already threw a code repairing bearing won't do anything and I'd have to get a new air pump?
p.s. any input on anyone who cleared a p410 code's help would be great![Wavey](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/wavey.gif)

There are threads for an air pump delete, you just have to make sure your pull the connector where it leaves the wiring harness on the fender as opposed to a little closer to the pump to keep away from a CEL. You also need to block off the exhaust manifold port where the riser pipe comes off. There is a block off plate available from, I believe, mazmart. This will let you be sure it is the pump.
Be careful just disconnecting the pump. I do not know if the valve on the riser is normally open or closed. But, if it is open, and the pump is not running, the hot exhaust will melt the pump.
In a hot area, that pump does not do a lot anyway.

I've been looking into air pump delete and it looks like racing beat sells air pump delete cover thing! Do you think they would send you instructions also? lol I don't mind taking out the air pump if it doesn't mess up anything :p

Sorry, it was racing beat.
The DIY is pretty easy, and fairly complete. Biggest thing is to pull the passenger side front tire and drop the little curtain to get to the bolts. A wobble extension will be your friend for the back one. Then disconnect at the upper connector. Only other thing is putting the baro sensor back someplace and plugging the vacuum line.
Good luck.
