Knocking when reving

EU Knocking when reving

Hi I have a problem with my car like at this video :

Car starts normal when it is cold and hot accelerate normal.

Do you have any sugestion what can it be ?

check ur mounts ?

it sounds like u got something hanging loose

I put down gear box and everything look ok tomarow I will start engine witout gear box and I will see if this is from engine or somehing else.


Wha do you mean "check ur mounts" ?

engine mounts on both sides.

also, check ur radiator rubber mounts on top, as they age they will rip apart.

We check with hearing aid all car and the sound i coming from back off engine (the loudest) when it is input with gearbox but you can hear it at the from of engine put not so loud

might be worth looking at the heat shields on the cat and header.

the transmission should be eliminated from the equation by simply pressing on the clutch and putting it into gear.

could be a broken up catalytic converter or engine mounts ripped.

could also be from inside the engine but it would be evident by a copper oil shower from the drain plug and the 0 reading on the oil pressure gauge.

I dont have catalytic The sound is coming from engine today we will start engine without gear and see

What do you thing about engine mount ?

We will turn the engine spin to minimize the cost of repairs becose sound is from engine shaft ;/

Repairs? if your shaft wobbles it's cheaper to just buy another engine!

Update:







I change my clutch and ignition. Sound comes from near by exhaust system do u have any idea? Car run normal at hot or cold engine only this sound...
