Long crank times

Long crank times
So I have noticed now that it is winter and cold out my 2005 8 is now cranking a bit longer then when it was warm out. Everything else seems to be working fine, no noticable loss of power or anything like that.
Is this indicative of any problems? Any mataince I should perform?
I really just want to nip any problems in the bud.
Thank you for any responses.

Please give us all the history on your car.. model, miles, mods, service? How many miles on wires, plugs, coils, you could have a early level starter motor or weak battery? Have you done a decarbon cleaning?
