NJ loss of acceleration in 5-6 gear

Hey i have just noticed today as i was in 6th gear i couldn't get past 4k rpm even with pressing the gas down i have done research on what too do sounds like maf or intake filter going to check both and see if that doesn't seem to help,does anyone know what it could be maybe fuel injectors or spark plugs also have a weird static noise as well at high gear ranges stock intake 79k miles

Did you get a Check Engine Light flash?

No nothing is on check the maf and filter they r clean seems to run fine just fells like 6th is a little slow even at 75mph

It could be a lot of things, no sense in guessing.
I'd start with an OBD scan for stored or pending codes.
If you don't have a tool or app you can go to AutoZone or some other place like that and get a free scan.
You'll have to do some troubleshooting, this thread is a good guide;

If there is a static noise, could be the spark plug wires wearing down and you are receiving EMF interference. Pull them and check if there are cracks.

If you need to really go fast at higher speeds, you need to downshift and rev-match. This car isn't a V8 or turbo I4 where you can be lazy and just floor it in higher gears. You need the revs to have power.

Yes static or a buzzing noise yeah I figure I'm gonna pull and check plugs tmm and let you know thanks
