master or slave cylnder

04. 70,000 mi clutch bracket seems fine at spot welds. New clitch lines. My clutch pedal has been feeling odd lately.today when I pushed it down to put it in to first and pull out of the driveway the pedal stuck to the floor, the car died I then had to pull it back up. I tried to continue on because im now late for work. 1,2,3,4 goes in gear fine doesn't stay down. When pressed but feels soft. Then come to a light downshit to third when it turns green but it wont let me In like somethings blocking it lift pedal up then press back down and it let me in returned home. When I left I noticed some clutch fluid on the ground. So master cylnder or slave or both?

Help. Ok so this morning I started the car and when I would press my clutch down just a little while warming her up it would make this squeel noise, when I would let off it would stop. I might have more of a problem then I thought.

You are going to have to check for where it is leaking...likely the slave if it is leaking under the car though.

You might have air in the line as well...how long ago did you change the clutch line?

The easiest way to bleed the clutch is with a pressure bleeder...it is very difficult to bleed all the air out with the pedal

Mazda replaced the clutch lines and break lines a month ago. Maybe I can find a place that does free diagnostics like aamco or something. I don't have a jack or anything to help my fat a$$ fit under the car..lol

If I was going to bet...I would bet the connection at the slave is loose a bit...it will leak..and you will get air in the system causing your problem. Take it back to the dealer to let them have a look if it that recent. They should be able to tell you if that is the problem
