Midpipe Issue?
So i got a THMotorsports Resonated midpipe the other week installed it, and no when i accelerate quickly between 3-4k and 6-7k rpms i hear this weird noise coming from the exhaust. I have searched the forms and cant find any info on this.
I though it might be an exhaust leak so i went to Advanced Auto parts, got gasket materials and made gaskets for it, glued them on... did nothing. The only other reasons i think it could be doing this would be because of no hanger or is it possible to have a bad resonator?
Any information is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Droopy

It may be the absence of a hanger, why don't you ask a shop to weld one for you?
The resonator will probably become noisier over time if contains packing but it's unlike that it will cause any rattles

I have the same exact issue after installing my exoticspeed hi flow cat on stock exhaust.
Did you reuse the stock exhaust springs where the midpipe meets the rest of the exhaust?
I didn't.....
Could also have a leak as well because of that.
I got a remflex gasket for the header/cat and it fit perfectly:

I am going to order the raceroots gasket for the midpipe/catback section. Maybe that will get rid any leaks.

So this is a pretty desperate thread revival, but did anyone end up fixing this issue? I am having the same issue as the OP and this is the only video I have found that matches my midpipe/high flow cats buzzing between 3750-4250rpm and around 6000rpm.
I cant find anything touching/rubbing/squeeking or loose. Did anyone resolve their issue?
