as some of you know i recently change my engine at dealership under warranty!

here is what they change;
plugs/wire/coils
catalysist converter
new clutch
engine!

now no cel, but damm no power anymore, i cannot reach past 3k rpm, i know for sure its no fire problems! something with the intake again! when its cold the engine runs like ****.. i am telling you guys, i have lost 80% power at least! i checked the VDI and SSV actuators and they can move freely by hand, maybe solenoid are finished!

i cannot hear my exoticspeed cat back anymore! i just hear the engine spinning with the mazdaspeed cai! i suspect something in exhaust too! maybe a seal or ???

now yesterday i was coming back home and suddenly, i press clutch pedal and i hear a big clack! pedal became very different! no more friction point!! i can shift but none or almost no more pedal feel! is it maybe the fork? or pressure plate?

question i will get a new tranny too cause 4th and 5th grinds alot, can i fit 2007-2008 tranny to my 2004 rx8?

whats that got to do with whether its toast or not?

 

how can a cat toast in less than 2000km?? with new engine?

 

Can it rev past 3K? If it can't your throttle likely isn't opening cause it's in limp mode..

Check your MOP.....( metering oil pump) connections

 

Yeah the cat is gone. Have them look into it. A local member here in Vegas flooded his 8 and the cat was toast. He could not rev past 3k rpms.

As for the clutch pedal, sounds like they did not adjust it right or the clutch pedal broke.

Sounds like they need to work out a few kinks and your 8 will be good as new.
