My 8 is shutting off
I have searched the forums for other posts but no one seems to give concrete information as to what it might be. Well, here it goes>>>
I have a 2004 Manual 8 with 61380 miles on it. I purchased it 2 years ago and it was hit and repaired. I just changed the coils, plugs, wires, air filter, and oil (basically a tune up). I had my compression tested on Friday and my compression is great, so no failed engine here. The car starts fine but when I drive it after it is hot then it shuts off when I stop. I am going to clean the MAF and throttle body in the AM to see if it helps. Any suggestions would be appreciated on to what the issue could be.
Has anyone else had this issue and actually corrected the problem? No offense but I do not need someone saying that they had the same problem without a resolve because that doesn't help.

MAF and Throttle Body are good ideas.
Check out the stuff in my $100 thread too. Could be getting warm under the hood. An ECU reset would be a good idea after a tuneup, then do the slow ECU learn (start cold, let it sit running for 10 minutes until the idle comes all the way down and stabilizes).
Does it stall with the AC on?
