I have a '04 rx8 gt and for some reason today she didn't want to shift into reverse. When the car is off It shifts into all the gears no problem, however when it's on I sense resistance when shifting into first and it will not shift into reverse at all. I managed to reverse after pressing down on the clutch about 10 consecutive times. Does anyone know what I should to do to fix this issue?

 

Bleed the clutch


And if you don't know how to do that - take it to a mechanic to do it.

 

+1, deff sounds like clutch needs bleeding / topping up.
