My heat wont turn on every once and a while?

Maybe once or twice every two weeks my heat wont go on. I wake up in the morning and warm up my car. When the car warms up it still only blows out cold air. If i drive it around for 30 mins to 40 mins it warms up. This really sucks because sometimes its freezing outside and im stuck with no heat. does anyone know what could be causeing this?

Thanks, I think I'm starting to experience this as well. I'm glad this site exists so I can fix these minor issues myself instead of relying on the stealership.
