Need Help!! 05 Rx8 Running Like Poop.

So I just shipped my 2005 RX8 down to Utah from Alaska and when it got here I took it for a drive and after it gets to running temp it starts to run like absolute garbage and loss of power. Periodically while driving the check engine light will flash. I did a obd2 scan and it comes back to rotor 1 misfire. I have replaced the coils plugs and wires, I even replaced the fuel pump as mine is the original with 118000 miles (motor only has 25000 miles) but I am still left with ****. Compression test was done last month which came back to 7.9 8.0 7.9 7.9 so I know it's not an engine issue. What on earth could it be? I am so lost I don't know where to turn. P.S. catalytic converter was also replaced last week.

Have you cleaned the ESS & MAF sensor?

When you cleaned the ess, did you do the 20 brake stomp procedure? And are you positive you installed the ignition correctly?

Yes I am sure I installed the ignition correctly, one plug wire and coil at a time. No I did not do the 20 brake stomp, what does that do? This issue was here before I cleaned anything or changed anything, hence why I've been replacing these known failure parts.

hummm, if coils are good, maybe an injector issue. Try getting your AFR and seeing if it's doing anything crazy.

Are we just not going to talk about how those are probably fake compression test numbers?

Ok already calling me out as a liar I see.. no these number are not fake, I would post up the test results if they weren't packed up in one of my 50 totes from moving cross country and the results were done at a reputable shop in Anchorage Alaska who specifically deals with rotary engines not to mention there would be no point for me to lie on here. Also to point out the motor has less than 25000 miles on it.

Anything else you would like to add sir?

Doing any work on the ESS should require you to perform the brake stomp. Click this link for details https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tro...memory-169443/

Yeah I found that link as well and I performed the brake stop last night but still did not change the running issue. I guess it's possible I got a bad coil as before I changed everything I was throwing a random misfire and now it's just a rotor 1 misfire. I am going to do a fuel pressure test and try to clean the injectors and see if that helps but doesn't quite explain why it would run fine till about ten minutes after reaching running temp. Also if the possibility that my ess is bad, where do I get one? I tried looking it up at oreillys but it said no parts found. Dealership?

I didn't call you a liar, but now I'll consider you an apprehensive dick.

What I meant was that those compression test numbers are absolutely worthless because there should be 3 numbers per rotor, with an RPM that the test was preformed at for each rotor.

Well Legot, unfortunately I am not a mind reader and that's what you should have said in your previous reply as it clearly looked as if. I realized typing from my phone I left out the other numbers so I see where you are coming from. It was supposed to be 7.9 7.8 8.0 7.9 7.9 7.8.

Sorry if I missed it, but have you tested the pressure in your fuel lines?

Think I mentioned it but yeah I will be doing that today. Would/could an injector stop functioning properly when it gets warm?

Well I was unable to do a fuel pressure test today but after re changing the coils plugs and wires again it has cleared up 95%. I am still going to do a fuel pressure test in a couple days when I can get it in to the local rotary mechanic and have him check it over to make sure nothing else is wrong.
