Unhappy Need Serious Help

Is there anyone in the Miami Gardens area that could look at my car and tell me what is wrong or where I could go to some serious help. I am having a load of issues. I will list the issues below.

1. Made a thread how the car shakes but don't really know how to check the mounts mechanic says he changed them but I'm not sure if it really was changed for sure.

2. I hear a squeaking noise and think it might be the belts and don't know how to check the pulleys.

3. I was told I have a grounding wire issue as the power steering will work when it wants to and I have tried the DIY on fixing it but still have issues.

4. The ST fuse has the ability to start to crank the car with no keys if the fuse is squeezed.

If anyone could help I would gratefully appreciate it.

This sounds like you need more than just some random guy from the forums help for some of that.

One way to check pulleys is to just wiggle them towards yourself and see if they have play, they shouldn't. Also you might try standing in front of your car while someone turns on the A/C and see if the noise gets worse. If it does get worse then you know the problem is likely the A/C compressor pulley. That is just something you can check to eliminate things.

The " fuse" you are talking about it likely the relay You could change it out to fix that if it is broken. If it works correctly when you leave it alone then quit squeezing it

To do the Steering fix you need to dissassemble and clean the connectors, apply some dielectric grease and reassemble. That includes the grounds that are on that harness as well. You may have to do the connections to the EPS module as well to solve the problem

Shaking could be so many things...you will need to have someone look at that who has a clue Likely not a dealer mechanic

Squeeks can be fun ...if it is a belt..usually replacing it will fix it..especially if it is old and hard

Good luck

I will check the things listed and when I turn the A/C on the car shakes then smooths out after a while and when staring the car with the engine cold it shakes like crazy and revs up to 2000 or 3000 rpm but moving it to D or R make the car smooth out and shake less. Revving the engine makes it shake like crazy as well. I feel like I got a lemon on my hands.

Sounds like a transmission problem more than an engine problem. ...

I'm just gonna try finding another mechanic in the morning as I am getting frustrated and can't figure what is wrong with the car. I have tried all the things listed about the pulleys and the car shaking is really driving me insane. I will let you guys know what the mechanic says and I hope he can get the car to scan as the port seems to act up just like the power steering.
