Need some help

I recently got my RX8 back after three months at the local dealership to fix the 2nd gear syncros. Car ran great for a couple of weeks, but here's the problem.

Coming home at interstate speed, approx 70, it suddenly begins running very rough and lacks power. I limped it home and pulled a misfire code an ssv stuck open code, and a running rich code.

The ssv has been cleaned, plugs, wires, and coils were replaced with BHR's kit.

Now the car is clearly running much smoother, and no apparent misfire. I'm now getting a code P0301 and P0107 BARO sensor circuit low input ON 1 CCM. After a short test drive it seems that the engine compartment is much hotter than usual. I disconnected the battery and cleared the codes, but they seem to come right back. I'm a little stumped and any ideas would be appreciated. And yes I search, I'm not new to message boards. I did clean the maf, so maybe that has something to do with it??

Would a weak alternator cause something like this?? The battery is brand new.

Well, it looks like I got rid of the code p0301, but the code 107 barometric sensor code will not go away. I've cleaned and inspected the wiring.

The car idles fine, but doesn't rev as fast as it usually does. I took it for a very short drive and there is very little power. Would this code 107 cause this?? Does this sensor go bad??

Found this searching for the code information on my own P0107.

I found this thread to be helpful on it: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ighlight=P0107

So yes, it can go bad, but judging from the scarcity of threads discussing it, I imagine it's not common.

Thanks, I originally had a P0301, a code for a stuck SSV valve, and a running rich code. So considering the mileage and the fact that I was planning on doing it anyway I installed the BHR ignition and plugs. I also cleaned the SSV valve. Now I'm getting this p0107 and the P0301 is still there.

The BHR kit smoothed out the engine a lot and much of the problem has gone away, but I'm still getting no power and a crappy idle. It doesn't rev nearly as quickly as it should. As soon as I get a chance, probably Saturday, I'm doing a decarb and see where I should go from there. Disconnecting the Barometric pressure sensor while it's running does nothing, it simply continues to idle like crap with or without the sensor plugged in.

MAF is clean, SSV is clean, plug wires in correct order, and coil connections are in correct order. It just cut power suddenly when running perfectly, and now idles rough and has no power.

Well, I believe I've found the source of at least some of these problems. First of all it seems that I more than likely had a bad coil/plug/wire. Installing the BHR kit did a lot, but the car was not getting enough power from the charging system. Replacing my battery post connections did away with my P0301. It is running much stronger but is still giving me a code P0107, but I think I've probably got a bad sensor or connection. Anyone who is getting a P0301/302 should check their battery connections first of all along with plug wire/ spark plug connections. The best indicator of this was that I was unable to clear the memory using the ACC/ brake pedal 20 times method. Once my connections to the battery were replaced I was able to do the ACC/gas pedal correctly and my oil gauge would properly move.
