New Battery

I've just had a new battery fitted and after starting it the tracton control light is on and so is the stability control light.
They've come on before after the old battery went flat but they always went off after it had been stopped and restarted. I've checked the fuse and that looks ok although I dont know why the fuse would blow from just changing the battery.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Turn the steering wheel the whole way to the left, then the right (or right then left, doesn't matter). The DSC light will go out. Drive more than a few feet (even 10 feet works), then turn off the car, and turn it back on again. TCS light will go out.

Disconnecting the battery just removes the stored learned information about those 2 systems (since they work on total rotational diameter, which can change easily with tire choice, wheel choice, air pressures, and tread depth, it can't be hard coded), and you have to give the system enough information to work with for them to re-enable.
