New battery? Lights dimming

I can't find the exact thread of my problem but at night i'm experiencing my headlights and fog lights dimming (slightly) when I do something (ex's: use my power windows). I'm nearing 40k and figure maybe its the battery ?? My only mods are cai, hi power, led license bulb, led clear corners and a grounding kit.

If anyone has the right thread or idea how to fix this let me know.

I've found similar issues in threads but its due to most member having upgraded sounds systems. (which i dont have)

if you had read the threads where it was the sound system carefully you would have seen it was the result of GROUNDING issues.

and you have a grounding kit

somewhere you have a bad ground that is effecting the electrical. maybe somethings come loose maybe something broke.

of course it could also be a bad alternator. which you need to get checked. you write you are in socal- there must be someplace local to you that tests batteries and alternators. some autoparts store or a Batteries Plus etc.

honoring my own mantra about asking questions before diagnosing-

how long have you had each electrical mod?

how long have you been noticing this issue?

did you change anything in the week before you noticed this issue the first time.

hit any large bumps recently?

let someone else drive your car recently without you in it?

just me driving my car. just noticed this about a week ago. the grounding kit has been on about 4 months now.

it probably IS the grounding kit seeing as though it is ebay. i get my bhr ignition kit soon anyway so i probaby will idle much smoother i assume.

im near lake forest and mission viejo.

i put in the clear corner LED's not long after the grounding and the rear LED license bulb a few weeks ago.

would LEDs really suck that much power? would a red top optima help?

im saying that when the leds were installed its possible something got screwed up in the grounding. like when put a 1 post brake light in a 2 post socket.
