New rims = dsc, brake, and traction light?

i have just put on a set of rims that i got today, and on the way home my dsc, brake light and the traction light all came on... now the rims i bought do NOT have tpms but that usually throws a tire pressure light, right? every time i turn the car off they go away untill about 2-3 minutes into a drive. so from research i see that most of you just clean the sender/module or whatever its called but i feel its far to big of a coincidince that it goes less then 5 minutes after i installed the new rims.. any ideas?

What size tires are on the rims? If there is a variance in tire outside diameter then yes you could have an issue with the DSC.

heres the fix

your tires all dont equal up to the same radius or turning radius.
I have this problem as well.

I'm at work but if you like i can explaine the problem in more detail via my iphone
feel free to call or text me.

PM me for the number. you probably experience this error after making a few tight turns but never on a straight away. just power cycle the car and it goes away.

I ignore mine but be warned DSC and traction control arent functioning when this error occurs.

Those tires have very different circumferences...much more than the DSC will tolerate

You would have been better with 225-45-18F and 245-40-18R if you needed to go staggered

The best would be 245-40-18 on all 4 corners...

Second best would be 225-45-18 that is stock

The 245-45-18 are too tall........

Get 245/40-18's all around. No issues will ensue.

If your going to do a staggard fitment do it right. here are some sizes you can use that dont mess with the dsc and work. plus look really good

front size 225/45r18 rear size 245/40r18 <---good
front size 225/40r19 rear size 255/35r19 <---funky
front size and rear size 245/30r20 <---rubber band man
you can't stage the rear wheels wider on a stock RX8 in 20's without modding the body cause it will stick way out past lines. you would need a wide body kit or something. or unless you want to look like your driving a dune buggy.
