Question Nexus gauges need HELP!!!!

few weeks ago I think I tosted my module for the nexus gauges.

I need help from members who have or had install those gauges in rx8s

now about what happend

I was heving those gauges installed for over a year and everything was working ok and one morning I let the car warm up like always when I came back the gagues were off but not like normal they were off but they didnt come back to 0 location they stay where they were before the module porbably get tosted. Why I suspect module ?? becouse when I touch it it was hot not like super hot but it was hot. I have done the installation like they asking in the manual put two fuses one on constant 12v and one on switched line I used those glasses type of fuse couse they asking of 1/2 amp and 3 amp fuses I couldnt find those in different type only the one with the glass.
I put my module next to the fuse box in leg department Iam not sure if that is not to close to ignition coils in the manual they said not to put module to close to ignition coils but why it was working ok for over a year????

So now I need help how did you install your system and where did you put your module?? What kind of fuses did you use ???? Maybe you have better option.
Help me out I bought new module and those cost like 200$ I dont want to buy it again and again

Thanks

I used glass fuses as well. My module is in the dash above the radio next to the TPMS module. They've been installed for almost 4 years. No problems.

Thats where I have my module also. Going on 4 years. One of my gages though sometimes shut off. Always the same.

The ignition coils are mounted on the side of the engine. Anywhere inside the cabin is fine.

The odd thing iwth mine is, two of my gagues out of the six will sometimes not turn on. If they do turn on sometimes they will just be stuck at a random spot on a random color. If i turn the car off and back on, they will be fine and function properly. Anyone know what this issue is?

Anyone interested in buyin a nexus nirous pressure gauge cheap? lol

Thank you guys my wiers looks like they will be to short to go that far. I get the wiers thru the rubber grommet next to the brake cylinder and thats why I choose in the leg dep.
How about those fuses everyone use glass one ?? Why my fuses didnt blow ??
My gauges if I turn the key to quick sometimes they dont go on also but if I let them start up before the crank they working fine. What wires did you use for constant and switched power?? For ground I go behind the fuse box screw and for constant and switched I think under the steering wheel black wiere with yellow stripes and 3rd I dont remember I will have to look again

Bro I have done so much wiring on my car that I cant really remember exactly where I connected the module, specially when that was about 4 years ago. Ill take a look tomorrow and let you know.
