i recently got a set of 18x8 f and 19x10 r 2 peice ro-ja wheels installed on my 8 this past saturday which look absolutlety bad ***. problem is that the place where i got my wheels which i thought was a reputable company appears to have a quite a few morons that work there... saturday, the wheels were installed about 2 hours later my tire pressure light came which indictated a leak,i checked the tires and came to find that all 4 valve stems were leaking i refilled the tires to get me through the evening the light shut off as it seemed to be working properly.sunday i returned and they took the sensors out and said that they would have to get straps for the inside of the wheel so that the sensors would not leak.while the sensors were out the light was on and remained on until i returned on tuesday when they reinstalled the sensors but i had diffrent valve stems sticking through the rojas not the factory mazda ones which are found on the sensors but the light was off like it was working normally. but while these jack ***`s were taking the wheels on and off for the third time they managed to damage all 4 wheels. wednesday afternoon i returned to have them remove all 4 wheels to have them sent away to be repaired[sensors are still in rojas]. they re- installed my factory wheels less sensors but now my tpms light is not coming on. it comes on when you first start the car like normal and goes off like nothing wrong. with no sensors like i had sunday the light remained on like i would expect right now, but everything is reading normal. is there any way that they could have done something to system to make it read like there is no problem??? these people really suck and im having multiple problems with them. one thing of note that i just thought of is that monday and tuesday afternoon when the sensors were out of the wheels i left them in the back of the car which would give the cpu a reading of low pressure but with no sensors any where near the car would`nt the light show something???? any help would be awesome. thanks!!

Each winter, I switch out to my snow tire/rim combo without TPMS. It takes a few days/drive cycles for the system to catch up to the missing sensors. First few days it seems to flash at startup then go off. Within a few days, the light comes on at startup and stays on. I wouldn't worry about it. More worry would be regarding your sensors that they reinstalled in the new wheels, if they are not tightened properly they will leak, if overtightened they will leak or can be damaged.
