P0300,p0302
Hello all, I just purchased a 2006 RX-8 GT 110000kms 6speed also has Gready cat back exhaust. The problem I'm having is I can't seem to get rid of the engine light. I have changed the coils, plugs, wires with new ones. The car has lots of power pulls strong to red line. Any help would be great thanks

Sounds like you have a misfire, as P0302 for for a misfire in the second rotor, and P0300 is for random/multiple misfire. You did start with the basics, which is good, but there are a few other things worth checking out (Because of the age of the car too), such as:
- Catalytic Converter (Clogged or on its way out the door)
- Clean the MAF sensor
There are a few other things you could do as well. What did you replace the coils with? Mazda OEM?

?Hi. I'm having issues withe same P0302 code read on my 08 RX8. Your thread has provided me with a lot of useful help. I'm wondering if there are any schematics available to at least get me pointed in the right direction as to finding where the maf sensor, rotor, wires, and plugs are in this thing ?

MAF is in the intake tube...just past the air filter box
Wires and plugs should be easily seen just below the throttle body to the drivers side of the engine..they look just like spark plug wires on every other car out there
Look through the sticky threads...there is a ton of info there
