'04 passenger airbag warning light came on after I had the car detailed...so I suspected loose wires under passenger seat...but that did not fix it...detached battery...that did not fix it

i know this is a common issue...any words of wisdom?

This light came on on my way to show my car to a potential buyer...maybe it just a message from the car that I should keep it!

 

I actually had this happen to me a few weeks ago. Honestly what fixed it for me: sat in the passenger seat, bounced up and down a bit, and all set. Not sure wtf caused it but mine came after I detailed my car as well.

 

I am having a similar problem but i don't know if its passenger or drivers side. Anyways, i am getting some other stuff sorted out but i did read up on this. There is a sensor behind the glovebox that you should check up on. How do you know that its passenger side ?
