Question Passenger seatback rattle anyone?

My passenger seatback rattles with no occupant in the seat. If you hold onto the seatback firmly, the rattle stops. Everything seems to be tightly screwed down but there is just enough play in the seatback hinges to allow the seatback to shake over rough pavement. It's not the first car that I've had this problem with, but I was wondering if someone knows a simple cure. I don't believe there is any type of tensioner in the hinges. Can the seatback be removed at the hinges and a washer inserted to take up the play?
Thanks for your replies.

Mention it to the dealer. It may be something they can tighten during a service.

Post Fix it.....

Fix it yourself, five minutes, tops.

The seat cushion lifts up at the front, no tools, nothing.
Under the back cushion you will see two 14mm bolts - zip zip - then lift straight up, there's your seat out!

Maybe bend the back cushion over your knee to make it "push" into it's mount, find any wires/cables/clips that might rattle, then reassemble.

You might even take a moment to admire the fine workmanship on the cushions, or the "Made in Italy" tags - yes, they are imported Italian leather
