Spark plugs pricing

I just got the msp16 done to my car today.

Question is the msp16 reflash the same as getting the m/n reflash or are they different flashes?

When i was talking to the tech about it he mentioned that there is two pcm flashes. I just wanted to know if should go back for the m/n flash or not and how much it will cost.

You do not need to get the m or n flash, if you did they would have done it.

So when the did the msp16 that reflash is the same as the m/n flash? and idk some dealerships will do one thing and not do other things if its not on the service sheet.

yea went in today to get them to replace the cat. and asked to do the msp16 pcm reflash just wanted to make sure that its the same reflash as teh m/n . or if it was different and the dealer just didnt check to update it.

ok thx i just wanted to make sure.

And the best place to get the oem plugs and wire is straight from the dealer or if i go to a place like advance auto and get the oem plugs and wires throught them?

dealer said code was thrown for the spark plugs and wires. cars getting to 60k miles and im not sure when last owner replaced plugs and wires. So was goign to change soon anyway
and am not paying like 300 dollars to the dealer for instalation just will get the plugs wires and replace myself

Do not get the plugs, wires, coils from the dealership unless you do not care paying 3 to 5 times more than what they cost. Look at the vendors here at the forum. Most of them sell the coils for $140, wires around $50, and plugs around $70.

As far as the msp16 if they had done it they should have put a sticker under your hood indicating that the flash was done.

^Look at the vendors here at the forum. Right now they have plugs for 80, wires for 60, coils for 140. Then there are some other vendors that if you bundle they give 10-20 dollars discount. And if you spend some more time and look around a bit you will find better prices than the ones I indicated. Look at the on sale section of the forum as well.
