Please HELP Mazda 2006 Rx8 taking long to catch when starting

Hey Rx8 family. I'm in need of help. when I'm starting my car it takes a few seconds to catch. you can hear it turning over but I have to have the ignition turned for a few seconds before it catches. I took it to a mechanic and they told me fuel pressure, spark, O2 sensors were good. they said they cant identify the problem. Any suggestions? Please help.

Please HELP Mazda 2006 Rx8 taking long to catch when starting

Have a look at the "starting issues, START HERE" thread found at the top of the troubleshooting or technical forum. It provides you with a step by step instructions on how to locate your particular issue. If you're still having issues after your own troubleshooting, post back here and let us know what you did/ didn't do. Good luck

EDIT: thanks wankel!

You have a dead coil. Change all 4 out, it's a 30 min job.
