Power Steering Problems

Power Steering Problems
I dug up quite a few threads about cleaning the connectors and the problems people have been having with their PS.
But I don't think I've ever seen quite like what's happening to me.
Whenever I had the car sit and not drive for over 24 hours, the steering would start to act up, really stiff and would start to shake a little (not like the shakes in people's videos when they turn one way really hard etc.)
It would be fine then after forcing it to turn a little (wiggle left and right), and the "problem" would go away for the rest of the day.
I don't think it could be flatspotting tires to cuz I have them at around 36psi cold vs 32 from the factory.
Do I need a new harness? #F151-67-SH0D

well covered, and yet you started a new thread despite all the existing ones. Since you're not new here, and have also done the same before and got chewed on then too, I don't feel obligated to cut you any slack
recommend you read the entire thread, but the info more related to where you are now is near the end:

after going to this link, please delete this thread

Member's can't delete their own threads.
Dezau, clean the connector, and/or replace the harness, and/or delete the connector. Only once that has been positively ruled out can any further power steering diagnosis be done.
The exact symptoms of the power steering trouble caused by the connector problem can vary wildly from case to case. When the signal is messed up, literally any sort of power steering problem can result. The fact that someone else's dirty connector didn't cause the same feeling that your dirty connector does isn't really something that matters.
It is very rare that a power steering problem is caused by something other than that connector, and in perhaps half of those cases that I've seen over the years, the car had been in an accident shortly before where the front wheels took some sort of significant shock, OR there was an alternator failure that fried the control module.
The number of actual simple rack failures I've seen reported on here in 8 years is probably less than 10.

no,there is more info regarding the shaking steering situation that goes beyond the connectors. You can start at the connector, but there are quote a few reports of still having issues even after going so fubar as to actually solder the connections together (assinine move IMO)
didn't realize the OP deleting the first post was disabled now
still not worthy of starting another thread on a common situation

Thanks RIWWP!
Guess I'll just get the harness and replace it. It's an 04, so it might be on its way out anyway. Might as well do it now when I"m taking everything off so **** doesn't happen to me when I'm going 80 on the freeway.
I start this thread cuz "I don't think I've ever seen quite like what's happening to me." No lights or codes thrown yet.
Or maybe I should reiterate my problem, sometimes the steering gets stuck/hard for a couple seconds until I turn it when the car's cold. Nothing else is wrong at the moment. Everything I've seen seems much more severe than that. I didn't even realize it might turn into a problem until I read that thread before I posted this.
I'm sorry if seeing this thread made your eye sore or offended you in some ways.
