Propane like odor in cab
Has anyone had any strange smells coming into/from the interior of their car. I just had the transmission fluid changed and by that evening I smelled a strange odor when I opened the drivers window. At 1st I thought it was a natural gas leak, but the next morning on the way to work I could smell it again. Dealer has car now but has no idea what it's from. Thought at first that transmission fluid may have spilled on cat/exhaust and that odor was burnoff. No sign of fluid on either.

Am having a similar issue. Had manual transmission fluid changed, induction cleaning, cabin filter changed, air cleaner, and oil change. Peculiar odor on pickup. With vents on recirculate with windows closed, it pretty much goes away. Stinks up the garage just sitting. Smells sort of oily? Thinking it was something spilled and heating up, I took it to car wash and cleaned the engine and as far back down the trani as I could get ... better but not gone. Taking it back to the shop Monday.

Mentalhealth is overrated
I think I have the same problem. I only smell it when the windows are down. To me it smells like gear oil. I've asked the dealer about it many times and they gave me the line that maybe sone oil spilled and that's what I smelling....but after two years I don't so. I've just accepted it now along with all the other bullshit that has gone wrong with my car.
On the good side, they are finally replacing the wiring harness for the airbags after replacing 5 of them.
