Question about the car stop running when complete stop
my car have 45k miles and just recently service from the dealership. i got my oil change but coil, spark plug did not change it yet. This morning, when i stop in the traffic light, the car's rpm is too low and the car stall, battery just out, so i restarted again and keep driving, the second light i hit when i stop, the car stall again, seems like there is no power to the car if i do not guess it and it really annoys me because every light i have to keep 1.5k rpm to keep the car running. Also the car have rattling sound when i rev more than 5k and the CEL keep blinking and the car will not go speed up anymore. Anyways, anyone could help me solve the problem? i have to bring it to the dealership later afternoon to check out as well.

wow clean looking car. sorry i cannot help, but would like to know what the dealer had to say. I experience this problem twice in the past. Once about a year ago and the other a few weeks ago.
My CEL comes on at times, but goes away on its own so its hard to plan a trip to Autozone or Dealer for a reading.

did you have your A/C pumping? happened to me this weekend and service manager told me that the AC sucks out power, so i turn it off at lights and its good. he told me it is only with the 04-06's (i think) something about 1 pump, and now they have to 2 pumps to correct issue. i dont remember the exact details

If your coils are still original or misfires under high rpm, change it.
if plugs older than 30K miles. change it
if wires still original, change it.
after the above, if your car still stalls cat doesnt seems to be dying, then --
Throttle body dying.
Or engine on its way to heaven.

Got '04 w/ 36k 2 weeks ago and put 1k on it since then. Leaving work, pulled up to stop sign and then the radio cuts out along with the LCD panel and maybe some other lights. I don't think the idle changed, but not 100% sure. It was like that for a few seconds, then came back for a couple, then out again for a couple. Then it drove city driving fine for 20 miles. Parked it for about an hour and it started up fine. Drove and at first light, again same thing. Drove about 10 city miles with no problems then it happens again at a light. Then 20 miles of freeway driving with no problems. I get home and try to lock doors with remote and hear no honk, so I put key in ignition and turn and absolutely nothing, completely dead.
So what's wrong? Is the battery dead, alternator, flooding? The battery had some fluid leaking out of top when I looked the other day, but I didn't follow up because the dealer I bought it from had said that the woman who traded it in had just put in a new battery, that it was the shorter battery, and that the mounting equipment for the other sized battery was in the glove compartment. I didn't see a brand on the battery but I think it was 540 cold cranking amps. The other issue that I've noticed is that when I'm accelerating fast in first or second gear, a light temporarily blinks on with an amber icon of a car with curvy lines behind it. Is that a DSC thing, or could that be related?

this is pretty on point. i was at mazda dealership and they said it needed to be de-carbonized...did that...and 108 dollars later still will stall in extreme heat (100+) so now they want to do the coils. so i am just gonna get a new whip. 335i is on top of the list as of now.
