Quick Help
I own an '05 RX-8 manual transmission. Kept having a miss, put my check
engine scanner on it and the two things it says is misfire in cylinder 1 (of
course its a rotor its just what the book said) and it says system too lean,
anyone else have problems like this? needs to be fixed before the end of the
weekend.

Yes, it can, but that's not the only potential cause.
Vacuum leak might be a cause.
Any leak after the MAF, but before the intake ports will cause this.
A misfire usually isn't the cause.
Could even be a leak at the seal to the fuel injector, though that is massively rare, and is usually found by a fuel leak long before any lean condition can be detected, honestly.
BC.

it was running fine, i was on my way home from work yesterday and it was misfiring a bit but
it had stopped. got home checked the cel and cleared it, went run to the store and it did it
again but worse, ended up having to get it towed back home. didnt want to damage
anything by trying to drive it home as rough as it was running
