Radio and Information Display Inop

On my 04 6spd GT, I've been battling some electrical gremlins. I discovered that the radio and the information display are not operational. They are getting power and are back-lit but the radio, the climate control mode selector, and the information display are not operational. The blower motor switch does work properly and powers on the blower motor on all speeds. I have verified that the 15A Room fuse and the 20A audio fuses are both good. My concern maybe is that the main amplifier has failed and has taken the radio down but that doesn't explain the information display and mode selector being inop. Looking for some input as someone else may have experienced the same issue. Included are a couple pictures of whats going on.

Did you check to make sure that the connectors are all plugged in?

Given the seemingly altered state of your other wiring its going to take some sleuthing to get it straight

Agreed that this will take some work to get the car right. I did verify that the connectors were plugged in securely but I would be happy to go through them again.
  1. I should have mentioned that I replaced the radio with a known good unit and the information display with a known good unit before posting. I was thinking that the radio unit that came with the car was not good so I removed the parts from a parts car I have and I have the same result. I seem to remember that the information display did partially work before I replaced it. But the display was so dim it was extremely difficult to read.

Check the fuses. If all look good and connectors are hooked up properly do a power and continuity check on the connector wires with a voltmeter.
