random missfire, loss of power... NEW plugs, wires, and coils... still has problems....
stats: 04 6spd. 110k (org. motor) W/ gutted Cat
New: coils, plugs, wires, battery.
engine codes: p0300 (random missfire)
work done recently:
mazda loss of power recall (done before coils, plugs and wires)
ran the mazda cleaner in the intake system
just finished cleaning the ssv system
cleaned the maf sensor
Car has a rough idle that goes up (1200-500) and down sometimes stalls. No power below 4k, It will bogg out. It will run ok above 4.5 in 1st-3rd gear but has little power 4th-6th at any rpm. Now for the weird thing I unplugged the maf sensor and the car today and it runs alot better almost normal with great power at any rpm, so I am wondering if its a bad maf or something else. I Have taken the car to the dealer to have them work on it but they couldnt figure anything out..... Please help me!!

It may not be a new engine if the maf is plugged in and causing the issue but when unplugged the car runs fine.
Due to the heat of the engine the wires that connect to the maf may be dryed out stiff and if you remove the mafs to clean it they can brake. Turn the car on and move the wires around. If it runs normal when you move them around and then cuts out back to running like ****. Then its your maf wire harness. Get a new one from the dealer. They are over a C note.
Try to clean the mafs FIRST! try to save you some money first
