Same trouble here... In fact, it's been more pronounced since I discovered this thread a few days ago! (A subconscious thing I'm sure.) I'll probably have them tend to it next time I get the oil changed.

Do you have pictures, the order in which you took the door apart to dynamat.
I though about doing this but am concerned about removing hte black plastic interior panel sinc I don't want to damage the window motor or hit the window tint with the cable guide that runs verticle attached to the black plastic.
I also have a rattle / metal creaking sound when moving the interior door (with door completely assembled) handle in and out. this sound also occurs when I move the plastic interior trim in and out. Did dynamat stop this.
I also get a rattle that is different than the outside horizontal trim rattle, this one sound like it is in the door. I think it is the window cable guide. MAybe a bad design on how this think is munted. If I take the door completley apart I may but a sound deadending sleeve around the cable before it goes back into the verticl guide.

I have the drivers door rattle. and now I have a rattle coming from the dash in the left hand corner close to the windshield. I have also had the drivers side seat squeeking since the second week of owning the car. The dealer says they can not reproduce it. This crap is driving me nuts!!

imagine having this car in a city of potholes lol .....i am amazed how my car has less rattle . My suspension system did start to make some grinding rattle in low speeds , but i guess i cant complain, i mean these suspensions and wheels were not really designed to stand potholes and unpaved roads of Dhaka.

I have a terrible rattle in my driver side door as well, I can't exactly pinpoint it but it's somewhere around the black piano finish piece that goes around all the window and lock switches. For a while when I pressed on it with my knee while driving it would go away, now it seems to be worse and rattles when I drive over rough pavement.
The worst part is my car is less than 3 weeks old and only has 800 miles on it, it's an 05 sport 6spd and I want to sell the POS and get a S2000 like I originally planned it's frustrated me that much.

I found my door rattle on a 3 hour road trip yesterday. Turned out the gap between the door and dash on the corner under the tweeter didn't have enough space so the door was rubbing on the dash. Stuck a piece of folded cardboard in there and it went away, guess i'll tell mazda to adjust it when i get back to Dallas
