I have a 2004 with 48,500 miles on it. I notice a rattle at low speeds(10-20 mph) that sounds like its coming from the rear on the driver's side. I thought maybe it was the seatbelt rattling but it's not that. Does anyone have any ideas what it can be? Are there any heat shields on that side that might be loose?

 

Stock exhaust?

Could be a heat shield on the cat, could also be the mufflers banging around back there if the mounts are worn/loose.

Have to actually gotten under there and looked at anything, or just guessing (which is all we can do at this point).

If you find it's the heat shield, you can remove it or (preferably) have it welded back on.

 

Yeah, it has the stock exhaust. I just thought about heat shields on the way home last night. I'm going to look at the exhaust over the weekend. I'm just guessing at this point.
