Rattling noise triggered by deceleration

I searched around but it's kinda hard to even describe this noise so it's even harder to find a thread about the noise I'm getting... sorry if this is a common/repeat topic.

Thanksgiving break. Decided to drive two hours to see my family. Out on the open highway I figured I'd have a little fun with the 8 and floored it to 100mph. As I let my foot off the gas there's this noise coming from the front engine area that sounded really bad. It's hard to describe but the best I can describe it would be: SHHH SHHHH SHHHHHHHH SHHHH SHHHHH (very loudly; almost like scrambled tv channels).

Is this normal? This isn't the first time I've pushed the car into the high 90's but I've never heard this sound. And now it's so obvious. The sound sorta continues a bit afterwards, whether hitting the gas or breaks, until I lower the speed.

Any ideas?

PS: my airbag led decided to light up last week, should I be concerned?

Airbag..............check the connections underneath and to the rear of the passenger seat.
Was that seat recently moved? There is also a connection behind the glove box, but usually it's just the one under the seat. Actually both seats might have a connector underneath, but 9 out of 10 it's under the passenger seat when it happens.

Noise....not sure....I was going to say your heat shield, but after what you describe, I don't think that's it.
Thinking what else I think it could be, but don't wanna just start throwing too many things out there.
No CEL came on?
It's a long shot and not as you have described and usually doesn't occur when you've stated it's happening, but did you do a search on MIAC?
Actually it sounds like a vacuum hose might have popped off or something.

I had a vibration when decelerating from high speeds a couple of months ago. One of the wheels had a lug nut missing and 2 others were loose. I had just got new tires on the car and the dealer's monkey didn't finish his job.
As for the airbag, it's hard to tell. It could be something as small as a connector problem. Or as major as a partially fired bag.

I had a two different shops do the loose lugnuts thing at different points in the past. One the left rear wheel came off 1/4 mile down the road, and literally rolled past me, the other I realized they were loose and coming off on the PA turnpike at 11pm...fun times. Saved that one though.

Definitely check the lugs, check hoses, check for leaks (maybe a rock at the wrong angle punctured something?)

Did you get the noise while at speed before or after any brake use?

Edit: 2 posts away!
