Read my plugs and melting coils lol?
Originally had OEM ignition with 0 issues.
Went to RR ignition and two different coils failed within 1,000 miles.
Bought O'Reilly's coils right after for their lifetime warranty (replaced today). Have had the coils for about 8,000 miles until I started to get a another misfire (no spark coming from a single coil), then I noticed that the other 3 coils were melted in a different location from what I could find on here. Can someone help me find whats causing this? They have lasted much longer than RR, but can they just not handle my driving habits? I drive my car fairly hard and it see's several redlines a day, as well as some very hard driving on the weekends with RPMs staying above 7k for long periods of time.
On to the plugs! Bought them brand new and had about 8,000 miles in this picture. How do they look for this mileage?
Photos are attached.
Thanks for any help!

Well I got a diagram of the wiring from work. Says the ground is on the right rear of the motor, but isn't very specific. There is also a condenser that I may replace, but that's about it. Hopefully I don't spend weeks/months trying to find the issue.
Any help in the right direction would be highly appreciated!

those plugs look fine for an Rx8, most of the time they look like they went down with the titanic.
the coils, the Rx8 coils are odd, they are like a coil on plug coil with a little adaptor so you can use a plug wire. so there is a connection between the coil and the adaptor.
i think this connection is one of the things that causes the OE coils to sometimes be completely fine and some last 12 minutes. yours obviously had a problem there...

Yea the plugs don't look too bad. Just wasn't sure if they could help point to anything ignition related as well. I've cleaned them up since then.
I need to find and check the ground and go from there as far as the coils.

Running 8mm NGK wires. Bought new when I bought the coils.
Half the reason I went to O'Rilleys was the fact my RaceRoot ignition failed twice. I wanted something with a lifetime warranty to test out before I went and bought OEM or BHR.
