Replacing door weatherstripping
I could not find any prior posts on this. Search noobed as far as my skills went.
The weatherstripping on the front part of the left suicide door has torn...the part that seals between the doors. I think I've found the right part on line, for about $80.
Does anyone know if there are traps in replacing it? Is it just held in place with clips, or is it also glued? Booby trap clips? (Yes - I've had traumatic past adventures opening up doors and trim on other cars.) The shop manual shows the weatherstrip as part of a door diagram, but says nothing about R&R.
Trying to decide if I should replace it, or just hunt up some nice looking black cloth tape.
Thanks
Ken
