rough idle
So I think I have a vacuum leak, would the intake values stay open if the line was leaking or shut ?talking about the solenoid on the lim that are vacuum operated but controlled electronicaly on the plastic uim.
My idle seems to be pretty stable at 800 but then it will fall into the upper 700 range. I also have a rattling sound from my motor when it does that and just feels extreamly rough. Mazda changed a engine mount and fixed a oil leak but it is still there. the motor has only 12,000miles on it the coils have the same amount of miles along with the spark plugs. They were replace by mazda attempt to solve the dead engine without replacing it.
My mpg has also shot down so that is why i am looking at the low intake ports being possibly stuck or leaking. I did a compression test a few weeks before so i doubt its dead, i use sea foam to decarb and had no smoke O_O (used to get lots on the old motor)
note: car is all stock besides a intake, filter seems clean, the maf is also clean and the screens are still straight
