running problem
hi im new to this so bear with me i recently bought a 2003 rx8 which has 52000 miles on it it drives great and so much fun took a bit of getting used to the rotary engine but recently i had trouble starting it when hot and sometimes when cold so changed the plugs leads and coil packs and have fitted a racing cat converter and also upgraded starter which has sorted the starting problem but today while blasting up the motorway i was making sure to red line it having a bit of fun and the red water level light came on there was a loss in power and some blue smoke came out the back then i backed off the throttle and light went of some more smoke as i accelerated and a loss in power turned off at a junction and the problem cleared and car ran fine again this is the second time this has happened and wondering if anyone can shed some light on this problem????????
oh and there has been no cel light on when this has happened

Do a search for coolant reservoir for the coolant light problem.
The blue smoke is not a good sign. It may be an OMP issue, oil or coolant seal failure or the likes.
Get ready to buy a new engine as the worst case scenario (and the most likely one).
