I've got the same parts on my bench right now. I may try it with the ABS bracket on top. I already test fit it, so I know the ABS bracket bolt will thread, but I'll need to see if I can get it to stay tight overlapping the edge of the sway bar bracket.

mine did last 82,000 miles and at $20.00 a set changing them every three years is not a big deal. I will however rig that ABS bracket on top of the sway bracket.

Damn it Expo.............now I'm going to have to go out and check my RB bushings!
No noise yet.....after about 1 1/2 years(I think), but I'll take a look next time I'm under there for sure.

great thread ressurection. I'm actually in the market for some Tanabes. I'll have to check what kind of bushings they use.

You would be best to use a Molybdenum Disulfide (LM) based grease, you should be able to purchase this through any local auto parts store.

It was recommended that I use Prothane Super grease for mine. Got it from Summit.

The same stuff comes in 14oz tubes too. A lot of grease, but then you can slap it in a grease gun a make use of zerk fittings if you have them. Speed things up a ton.

I don't know if this was mentioned before, but the "text book" recommends that teflon tape be wrapped around the bar where the bushing touches to reduce the noise. I've tried this and I don't really find it to be too much different, but it probably helps a bit with protecting the paint I guess.
