Something very strange, anybody knows what's going on?
I have a 2006 RX-8, with automatic transmission. I only have 14,500 miles on it. It was running just fine. Last week i had to go out of town, so i used my other car. A week later i came back got in my RX8 and it wont start. The batery is fine, it spins the starter. So we tryed a few more times to start the thing... I unscrew my spark plugs, which looked ok, but flooded. So i disconected the fuel pump fuse, crarked the engine several times to get all the gas out of it. Once there was on gas mist comming out; i dryed the spark plugs and stuck them back in. The car still wont start. I and my brother checked all fuses and relleys with an electrical tester, they were all fine. And because my car is salvage certificat i don't have any woranty coverage on it, so i want to know what is wrong with it, may be i can fix it my self. My car is salvage because i bought it from auction, it was barely tapped into side doors. so i had to replace two doors and side airbag. the engine was left untouched. So if anybody can help me please let me know, it's very spendy to do any work at dealer or at a rotary shop, which we don't have very many around...
Thanks guys!

You did most of the deflooding procedure, but you should have put some transmission fluid in the rotor housings through the spark plug hole before you put them back in. Flooding a rotary doesn't just foul the plugs. It also removes the oil film on the housings that create a seal for compression. No oil = No compression. Throw some ATF in the housings and them crank 'til the cows come home. If that doesn't do it then I would guess that it is in your ignition system probably the coils, but try the deflood again.
