SPLIT BROKEN DRIVERSIDE VISORS. driver side visor

Mazda must have a couple of different suppliers making these visors because some people have endless visor problems and others have none. Heat related? One report was from CANADA!

I'm still waiting for my visor to come in. They think it should come in at the end of next week but we shall see. Mine wasn't so much that it just popped apart at the seams but the plastic ring part that goes around the metal hinge was actually gooey and soft and only slightly still a ring so my plastic actually melted inside the visor. At least it didn't take out any electrical when it broke like some people have had happen. Mine is still attached too much to get off and I don't want to mess with the wiring myself. I used clear mailing tape to hold it together as much as I can and then taped it up as best I could bu running more tape from the edge of the visor closest to the door and over across the moonroof/lights console, making sure to avoid all fabric. It hangs down just enough to be annoying but not enough to actually be in my way.

Mine arrived in about a week--however it was the wrong side!!! They ordered passenger instead of driver's. Something about the microfiche being wrong. DUH!!! AARGH!!!
So back to using blue sticky non-residue tape to keep my visor mirror in the position where it is toward the windshield. That way it blocks the sun and I don't feel like I'm driving via a mail slot windshield.
