Squeaking, clutch? or shift linkage?
I have noticed it for a while, and it seems to have gotten a bit worse...when I start the car from stop, I can hear a little squeak coming from under the car. It goes at a constant rhythm until I get pass ~3k rpm. it also does it during 2-3 change (not as bad), and when I get on the gas at low rpm, like after a slow turn in 2nd gear in a neighborhood. Lately I can hear a little squeaking around the transmission area when I'm out of the car. But can't tell exactly with all sorts of different noise. My clutch feels fine, not slipping at all, and the transmission shifts good. The noise is definitely not from inside the car (not pedal). I thought I've read somewhere a linkage on the transmission would rub and need to be greased, but I can't find the thread it anymore.
Any idea?

Car is 2004, ~64k miles. Transmission fluid was changed with Redline MT-90 at mile 40k.
I rarely hear that noise when it's in neutral. It noise only happens when the car is in gear, as I'm engaging the clutch. If I release the pedal very slowly, the noise would not happen.

I've been in Korea for 2 years while serving in the army. Just got back about 2 weeks ago. My car has been sitting in a garage without any kind of maintenance WHATSOEVER. Poor girl... Now my 8 emits kind of a high pitched humming noise on start up. You can hear it especially when you rev. Sound just about disappears when I engage the clutch. Also, I have to jump my car just about every other day now. Not sure yet if it's the battery or the alternator that's messed up. Never had any of these issues before!
