Squeaks, ticks, and rubber flaps, oh my!
In the event that all 4 plugs/wires/coils are replaced (oh, search, you've been so helpful), where else would I look for a ticking at idle? It's only apparent between 800-1200 RPMs, but it's loud and annoying as hell. The boots are on securely, so it's not a loose boot issue.
Second, I lowered my car a month and a half ago, and now have a steering squeak. I'm assuming it's tie rod related, as it only does it when I steer, not when I compress the suspension (Score a second point for the search function). Is there any way to grease the OEM tie-rod ends? Being as my car just rolled over 30,000 miles, I find it hard to believe the tie-rod ends need replaced...
Last, the forward facing rubber flap attached to my parking brake level broke off. There doesn't seem to be much to glue to, so what would be the best way to reattach it?
Thanks guys!
