AZ Squeeking?

I am new to RX 8s and recently purchased a 2005 Shinka with 60k miles. The only thing wrong that I saw on the carfax when I bought it was the clutch pedal recall. I took it in and Mazda said it was fine, but the clutch its self may need to be replaced in the near future.. 1300.00. I use non synth oil warm it up every day. I keep hearing the phrase "drive it like you stole it." I drive like that most of the time. When the car is parked after driving I leave it in neutral and there is a vibration and a squeeking noise. Could this be the clutch or is this normal for 60K miles?

The noise/squeeking/vibration is coming from almost underneath the drivers side...under the dash. The noise will stop when I push the clutch in. Only does this when sitting idle after its been warmed up. Thanks.

Is it like a grinding noise? Your gears might be slipping...

its perfectly normal. its the sound of the bearings and gears in the transmission.
if it makes noise when you press on the pedal, then you have a problem.

I have had the same problem for a looong time. It is ruining my otherwise nice driving experience. Once the car is warm when I put the transmission on neutral, it starts squeeking when I release the clutch pedal. I have to only press the clutch pedal for just half an inch to make it stop. Really ruins the quality feel of the car when rolling to a drive thru or alike.

Anybody have any real info on this?

My clutch was replaced very recently and it changed nothing.
