i have a starter issue, i think it is the connection as each time i want to start the car i reach under the passenger side and push the connector on hard and the car will start fine. a lot of the time the connector has fallen off all together. the clip has clearly broken and the end of the connection looks damaged.
the car bump starts fine and i have a new started motor ready just in case i need to change it but i would rather make sure its not the wiring first before i use the starter and cant return it.
i have searched but dont know where i can find a new connector or new wire all together. please can you help me with this.
i am in the uk by the way. any help would be massively appreciated.

Please help
i havent got any messages or replies yet and im still stuck with a car i cant start without getting underneath and fiddling around.
im pretty certain its just the wire that keeps getting loose causing the starting issue.
the problem is i cant find anywhere online what that wire is called so that i can order one.
i dont want to go to a dealer because they are just going to rip me a new one.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

The reason that you haven't received any replies yet is because your description is much too vague. How are we supposed to identify some random connector that you can "reach under the passenger side". Pictures sure would help, as would a clear definition of exactly where this wiring connnects to.
Even still... It's highly unlikely that you will be able to find an individual circuit or connector. You would probably have to buy a signficant part of the entire wiring harness, which would be quite expensive. Perhaps getting one from a wrecking yard would be an option.
Otherwise, your best bet is to fix the problem. This might mean using a tie wrap to secure the connection. Or maybe even re-wiring/bypassing that connector.
