Starting Issue please help!!

I KNOW I SEARCH THE THREADS!!!

But I can't find anything that helps, I have an Manual 05 Rx8 with 67000 miles on it. I let it sit for a couple days and then went out to start it back up and it turns over (rrr-rrr-rrr) but it won't do anything else. All the lights and stuff come on and its got a half tank of gas in it, so its not a battery, starter, or not having gas issue. I DONNO WHAT TO DO. PLEASE HELP!!! Any suggestions on what to check or do before I get it towed for a mechanic to look at it (and prob not be able to do anything because its a rotary, then have to take it to a dealer and let them rape me)

Also I was trying to check all the fuses and there are a couple really big fuses but I donno how to get them out and I don't want to break them or anything else around it?

It sounds like it's flooded. Push the gas pedal to the floor and crank the engine for about 10 seconds at a time. It takes awhile for it to start up. When it does expect a lot of smoke. You could also take the spark plugs out and clean them before you do this.

Aight I will try it tonight, how hard is it to take out the spark plugs?

It's not hard. You need a socket that's made to take out spark plugs and a ratchet. Also if you have the snap on part to the ratchet that has a joint to it, you will have an easier time. When my car flooded, I did eventually get it started by just continuing to crank the engine with the gas pedal to the floor. It is easier if you clean the fouled plugs first.

Dude it worked, thank you so much!! It took like 20 min but it finally started up. How do you think this happened and how can I prevent it? Should I still take out the spark plugs and clean them?

I'm glad it worked for you! The best way to prevent it is this.... When you start the car, it has to go to operating temperature. If it doesn't then the fuel doesn't get burned all the way. Then when you try to start it again there is too much gas on the plugs and it takes forever to get it started. Believe me, I've flooded my 8 about 5 times, and it sucks. Just drive it hard now to burn off all the crud on the plugs. You don't have to take them out.
