Starting problems

I have 2005 model RX8 Loved the car and then starting problems .Sometimes when its hot some times when its cold when ever she decides.Sometimes removing fuse for fuel pump work sometimes not.Its been a on going thing for the last year.Mazda said that i need n new engine with i had to pay for since the motor plan is up 'I think they just dont know whats wrong.'Please help

Warm dying at idle and start problems are indications of an engine with low compression. Did the dealer give you any detailed information as to what is wrong? Any compression numbers? You haven't given us much information to go on. You can try replacing the ignition components (they don't come with a rebuilt engine anyway), check for engine codes in the PCM, clean the MAF sensor and check the catalytic converter to see if it clogged.

It really looks like an engine issue combined with sub-optimal maintenance.
