I’m not exactly sure what is going on and until yesterday I thought these were isolated issues.

I have noticed that when I have my 05 RX out for a while, sometimes my tire pressure light will start to blink. Tire pressure is fine and the manual says there is an error in the system. I’ve recently had the TP sensors rebuilt but that did not fix the issue.

I have also noticed on occasion, my coolant light coming on. Didn’t think much about this at first and it would usually only come on after I ran the car for a while. I would add some water but it would not take much. The light would continue to come on every now and again.

The other day I saw the coolant light come on, go off, and then the tire pressure light start to blink. Both these issue only happen once the car is warmed up. Any thoughts?? ECU maybe???

 

The tank sensor is a known failure point...and TPMS sensors tend to be flakey at best.

If the coolant light bothers you....replace the tank and it will go away....

Disable the TPMS sensors and they will go away
